AARP Foundation Tax-Aide service is closed for the 2023 tax season. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. For taxpayers in certain areas of the following states (CA, AL, AR, MS, GA, NY, TN) impacted by severe storms, check to see if you qualify for a filing extension on the IRS website.

With the help of 26,163 volunteers, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide had a very successful season by filing 908,767 federal returns with a value of $813,370,409 serving 1,212,894 people. To help with year-round tax prep support, you may qualify for the free file option OnLineTaxes. We hope you will visit us again during the next tax season.
